Over the debris of Hindu Temples

Over
the one thousand years of Islamic History of India millions and millions of Hindu temples have been razed to ground by the invading Islamic armies. It was not the occassional fanatic zeal of some occasional ruler. This vandalism was not an aberration but a trend. From Afghanistan to Assam, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari temples have been demolished by the iconoclast Muslim rulers, who did it as their religous duty, as this is ordained in Quran for them. Here are a few pictures of the proofs of this destruction of Hindu temples. It is not even the tip of the tip of an iceberg, as the iceberg is submerged in the hidden story of Indian History.

About Me

My photo
Saumitra Sen
What can I say about that? It depends on how you look at me. In one profile I read this: “I am your perception about me.” It is so true that I do not want to change it and reproduce into my own words. I want to express it as it is. Yes, really I am your perception about me. What is the objective definition of myself? None. I judge myself like none other and none other judge me like myself or any other person. I am everybody’s own imagination. So is there any clear definition about me? I don’t think so. I cannot define myself until I identify myself with that Supreme Consciousness and at that level there is no identity. So what is the need of a definition anyway? Anyway, as we live in Dvaita, so I have a body, a national, cultural and dharmic identity. So I must tell about that. By profession I am a lecturer of Political Science in Jabalpur. I like studying about Dharma, History, Hindu Darshan, Psychology and have a passion for Ancient Indian History.
